Step 2: Schedule
We will contact you with availability for your free 30 minute intake. Reply to this email as soon as possible!
Step 3: Intake
The initial consultation session will cover our policies, your concerns, and your counselor’s approach.
Step 4: Counseling!
After your intake, we will meet for at least four weekly sessions to build rapport and craft your unique counseling goals.
telehealth counseling
The one good thing that came out of COVID is that we all learned how to stay connected from a distance. This has had an immeasurable impact on the accessibility of mental health services. We use telehealth to connect with clients all over the state of Texas!
Choosing to maintain an online practice reduces overhead costs. Without office rent or upkeep, we can charge primarily based on the value of our services.
Counseling Plan
We request that clients commit to four weekly sessions after the intake session in order to build rapport. During these first four sessions, we will discuss goals for counseling as well as your preference for session length and frequency.
Session Options
Individual Counseling
45 minutes
Individual counseling sessions are typically 45 minutes long. This allows us time to explore recent events and related past experiences. EMDR processing is also available for sessions this length. 45 minute sessions cost $160 per session.
80+ minutes
Over the course of our work together, we may discover that you would benefit from longer processing times. Whether we spend the time talking or engaging in EMDR, we will find the process that works best for you. These sessions can vary in structure, length, frequency, and cost. Typically, 80 minute sessions start at $265. Longer sessions are possible based on scheduling availability.
Group counseling can be an affordable option for those new to counseling or looking for a different level of support. It can be hard to get a group together, so tell me if you’re interested!
Insurance
We do not take insurance. Unfortunately, the healthcare system is not equitable to clients or providers. Health insurance companies vary greatly in reimbursements and do not account for the value of services.

Calculating Fees
When calculating fees, we take into account the counselors’ training and therapy experience as well as lived experience and marginalized identities. We also account for client need. New client fees may change throughout the year, and current client fees will increase January 1st of each year after the first calendar year with the counselor.
Good Faith Estimate
The Good Faith Estimate provision of the No Surprises Act is designed to give clients predictability in how much they will be charged for the healthcare services they will be receiving. At the beginning of services and at the end of every calendar year, you will receive an estimate of costs for the upcoming year based on our planned services and frequency over the course of 52 weeks of the year.
