As a 1.5 generation immigrant, brought here by my parents as a child, I have been afforded the privileges of traveling and settling safely. Many Indigenous people were violently removed from their native lands. Colonialism and White supremacy have led to the redistribution and hoarding of wealth and resources harvested from these lands that were once nurtured by the various Indigenous people. These injustices are still present and growing today.

There is no collective liberation without Black reparations and Indigenous LandBack.
